So, WordPress's "code is poetry" slogan probably is only meant to apply to WordPress itself. Though, even then, I wouldn't necessarily agree. Their PHP code is honestly not that great. (Then again, perhaps I have just developed an aversion against PHP in general; I just don't find it to be suitable for creating "truly" object-oriented apps.) Ramble-dee-damble.
