V for Vendetta
I admit it, I hadn’t read the book before seeing the movie. It has been a while since I had last seen anything relating the V for Vendetta movie. Last time I did see anything about it I was curious but at the same time completely uninterested.
Today I decided to go and see the film, not having any expectations really, aside from;
“I hope Natalie Portman is more believable in this than she was in Star Wars.”
Well she was better I’ll just leave it at that.
I thought the film was excellent, was an interesting commentary on the state of surveillance within England, the concept portrayed could easily happen I’m sure. Not to spoil, but the ending was good, interesting seeing the plans come to a head, it was also entertaining watching the marching of the citizens a the end as well.
Definitely on my DVD’s to by list now.
