New Games
I had been hearing a lot of hype about Portal, so I purchased The Orange Box recently. I wasn’t so interested in Half Life 2 until I found out the Portal Gun can be added to the game, I bought it mainly for Portal itself.
The game is highly entertaining, I’m not really a fan of puzzles and logic (despite being a big Myst fan) but I did enjoy the puzzles. It didn’t take me long to complete so I am now working on the advanced levels, I did like using gravity to propel you around certain areas.
The AI aspects of GlaDOS and the sentry droids had me laughing, I love the sense of humor in the game especially when the sentry droids cry out “Don’t shoot, it’s me!”
Please note, we have added a consequence for failure. Any contact with the chamber floor will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your official testing record, followed by death. Good luck.
I kinda wish the game was a little longer, but I can see the length making sense…if that makes sense.
But yeah, definitely a neat game.

So Jen’s been playing A Tale in the Desert for a while now, she had taken some time out to play World of Warcraft but recently started playing again. She had been asking me if I’d be interested in it so I figured I’d give it a go.
I had expected I would be a bit bored of it, but it is quite enjoyable. Haven’t had a lot of game time lately with the various projects I have been working on but it’ll be nice to play some more. Jen has plans for us to get married in game, as long as I get some more RAM.
