Lately I’ve been trying to get over the huge burn out I got into regarding art related stuff. It’s been several years since I’ve painted or done any drawing/designing that isn’t concept stuff for Uru Ages or Myst related (thus in my mind doesn’t count).

A lot of it comes down to not having any of my materials with me. All my art supplies and sketch books are still in England. I only have 3 sketch books with me. Two of them are new and one is a specific book dedicated to a singular concept.
But that isn’t the sole cause. I no longer live in an area that is an artist community and I no longer live in an area where friends and fellow artists reside. As a result I no longer have exhibitions to go to, other creative minds to throw ideas back and forth with.
With my interest in Uru pretty low, and my interest in World of Warcraft following suit. I’m hoping it may open up more free time for me to start experimenting and working to overcome this road block.
